Joel Price and Bill Feier hit the mud in Helen, literally!

After rain all morning Joel and Bill took the start of the sport race at the 4th stop of the Georgia State mountain bike series. With over 1000 feet of climbing per lap this course on a good day is tough. After 3 laps and several crashes Joel pulled out a 2nd place and Bill put in a great effort to snag 16th!

Pacesetter Steel Service Serves up some great results at the Union City Ominum!

Saturday - Crit's - Pro1/2 - Russ rolled of the front with an early break and grabbed 6th, while Charles and company patrolled the front of the group till the sprint when Charles took it to the field to snagged 13th!

Joel Price and David (Davy jet) Homansky took it to the Cat 4 field escaping with three other riders on the last lap to sprint to a second and forth place finish respectively! Great job guys.

Sunday - with a 90 mile road race in front of them, the guys found they had an extra treat for the day rain! Pro 1/2 - With great leadership from Mike Gann it was decided that Russ Griebel, Mike Gann, Charles Rossignol, Chris Chotas and Ben Carter would all take a turn chasing down the breaks to see what would stick. Charles got the short straw and went first after only 10 miles of racing, but the break was caught. Next up was Mike who had a little better luck as this break stuck for over 75 miles, with the rest of the guys patrolling the front of the group there was no chance for something to go up the road with a Pacesetter kit represented in it. As the break closed in on the finish Mike kicked all engines into lite speed and took it to he break away companions for a 2nd place finish!

Cat4 - Davy Jet worked over the field all during the race till the closing mile when he was shut out in the field sprint, crossing the line in 20th.

Cy sprints for second

Cy went down to Senoia to show the Cat 3 field what sprinting is all about. After working over the field for 40 minutes + 3 laps. Cy closed in on the finish then kicked it in to over-drive like a F-14 taking off from an aircraft carrier, shooting down 2nd place! Great Job maverick! Or should we call you Iceman?

Pacesetter puts on a good show at the Athens Twilight

Each of the 8 Pro1/2 riders got called up to the line at 10pm Twilight Crit, it was rocky style, "And now the heavy hitter for Pacesetter Steel Service Cycling Team...".
The guys went out and put on a great show with the nations top pro's, in the fastest, sketchiest cirt in the country, which had a nice amount of rain added to make it more interesting.

Joel Price scores a 4th at the Macon mud fest!

Joel kept his bike working to score a 4th place finish at a very wet and muddy Georgia MTB State Championship Series stop in Macon. After heavy rains all week they subsided long enough for the trail crew to try to drain some water fro the race which only made matters worse.
