Bill's SERC racing season was abbreviated this year due to an injury last December, but at least he managed to do 3 of the 9 races in the Southeastern Regional Championship Series as well as a makeup race. His worst finish was the first race where he placed 31st and the best finish was the last race in the season in Anniston, Alabama where he placed 12th.

Out of the 91 racers in my category who were awarded points, Bill ended up in 17th place overall. His entry back into racing is progressing in the right direction and he's quite looking forward to next season.

Along with the SERC racing, Bill competed in the Georgia Championship Series and have one more race to end the season. He has also qualified for the USAC Mountainbike National Championship race at Mount Snow Vermont this weekend, but will pass on that this year. The balance of this year will be focused on 12 and 24 hour solo racing and generally piling on long hours in the saddle.
